Arby's is a great place for those on the go looking for a roast beef sandwich when nothing else will do. If anyone reading this doesn't like roast beef sandwiches and is looking for another quick bite then across the street there is a lower level food court in the state building that you should be able to find more choices in.

I frequent this food court, and Taco Bell is the only place that I will eat at. The other places cost more and you don't get as much. They also aren't going crazy when you step into their lines...
I frequent this food court, and Taco Bell is the only place that I will eat at. The other places cost more and you don't get as much. They also aren't going crazy when you step into their lines making you order as soon as you are in a ten foot vicinity of the register. This might not make sense for those that haven't been here yet but for anyone who has gotten off of the eighth floor elevator... feel my pain.

The only reason why it stands is because it is in the center of Old Town. You would be better off going to the gas station at the corner than eating here.

Lets hear it for Wendy! Another good place to eat in a stream of nasty quickie marts streaming down Western ave. This is a good place to get something quick but if it is healthier food that you are looking for and have some extra time then there is a grocery store about two blocks south. Just some food for thought.

Inside this place is not the best place to dine so I recommend getting your food and then parking in McDonalds parking lot watching the north siders go by. Good food for fast food.

This is the place to fill up for a dollar before hitting Wrigley Field. You would think that outside a large attraction like Wrigley Field that they would have eliminated the dollar menu like they do downtown, but they have held strong. This place gets so much attention that they frequently run out on game day. A decent place to get some fake food if you get into that.

This is a nice Bennigan's, but it isn't the best. They are located in the center of loop life, and so they get a ton of attention which makes them desirable. If they weren't right by the Art Institute and variety of other work and tourist attractions then they wouldn't be so popular. The service is ok and the food here is mediocre.

Houlihan's is a nice place to sit back and relax with friends. The atmosphere is fun and nice for anything from meeting mom and dad to a first date. If you are around this location at breakfast then drop on by. I haven't tried it myself, but my friends all swear by it. You will spend more here than your average spot, but you are getting what you pay for.

If you are already going to the deli at a place like Jewel then you should take a side trip here instead, because their product is much better. I have eaten here a few times, and it is always nice to get one of the last pieces of culture in Lakeview.
