The food, service, and atmosphere here are all aces. Although some might complain about the lines, show up for an early dinner (5-5:30pm) and you will have no problems getting a table immediately. I consistently go back to this place for the high quality of food and the affordable price (although if you throw in a couple lemon ginger beers it can get pricey). I've been here several times with big groups and I have tried most dishes: garlic eggplant is spicy and delicious, the samusa soup is UNBELIEVABLE, as is the rainbow salad, curry catfish, and just about everything else. You will probably leave without leftovers.

Serrano's is amazing. I am always on the hunt for great pizza and this place has it. From what it seems like, when you order a slice they make it fresh with dough on the spot. Although this might take a little longer than your average slice, it will be worth it. Fresh ingredients and lots of cheese make this pizza amazing. It's cheap too! I highly recommend the jalapeno and pineapple slice. They also have a sidewalk patio area where you can watch people.

Zante's is definitely one of my favorite places in SF. Their Indian pizza is beyond amazing. Get the tandoori chicken and lamb on it and you won't be disappointed. Although the atmosphere leaves a little to be desired (kind of drab and dark), they do have $5 pitchers of beer. The best parts about Zante? They deliver ANYwhere in the city (even to SFSU area!) and they are just a short walk from Maggie Mudds!
