Ice cream down to a science

Friday, May 19, 2006
This ice cream shop on Bleecker Street is immensely popular and I can understand why. They have an enormous selection of flavors, all of which are apparently homemade as part of a tradition by the owner's family. It's like this whole art that's applied to the creation of the flavors, thus justifying the higher cost for a cone here. They've got the spectrum of flavors covered, from light fruits to rich, rich chocolates, and some weird, experimental flavors noted as specials for the day. Champagne ice cream, anyone?
