If the press coverage posted all around the lobby of this spa is anything to go by, this place is a hit with the stars. But for regular folks, you may not get that same level of service.
When I booked, I specifically requested a facial where there would not be too much lotion used, as they make me break out. I repeated this at the start of my facial, but she still put too much on, insisting she knew what my skin needed. While I felt very nice and glowy immediately after, sure enough, I had a break out the next day. Aside from that, it was very relaxing and soothing for the soul, maybe not the skin. Add my vote of confidence, however, to the Drying Lotion and the Protective Cream for Swimming, which both work a charm.
