The Airborne & Special Operations Museum is a great place for history buffs and for everyone who appreciates the military way of living. The lobby is very impressive. On one side of the wall was a list of recipients of the Congressional Medal of Honor. These were the people who served the military that were either in the airborne or special operations unit. On another wall in the lobby was information on the establishment of airborne units and special operations units. This is a great opening for the museum and what lies ahead in the museum.
Tghe museum offers statues, photographs, movies... and the most important of all, information.
After your tour in the museum, you can visit the gift shop which is filled with memorabilias of your visit. They offer decals, hats, ornaments, shirts, etc. The best thing about the museum is that it's free... they want you to know about the Airborne & Special Operations history and not to be forgotten.

They have boonie hats, uniforms, boots, ACU, t-shirts, sweats, watches, bags, toiletries, cookware... and that's just to name a few things!! They have great brands from Camelbak to Gore-Tex. If you want patches or embroidery done, they can also sew the patches and sew custom names for you. Don't forget to get bug spray and first aid kit! They have that, too! This place is huge so whatever you may need, they'll have it!

Sue's Sewing & Laundry offers great service! We love this place because they take their time in getting the correct measurements. Not only that, once you pick your items up that needed hemming, it fits you perfectly. We've brought several items in the past at Sue's Sewing & Laundry and have never had anything returned that was either too short or still too long.
One of the items brought to Sue's Sewing & Laundry was an elegant dress that was a bit too big on me. Within a few days, the dress was altered, but you couldn't even tell. I was very pleased.
If you're in a hurry to get things altered, they do charge a little more, but it's definitely worth it.

If you like nice, clean, dry clean clothes, I highly recommend Young's Cleaners!! Their service is superb. The uniforms always look so sharp after being cleaned by Young's Cleaner. They put heavy starch (just ask) so the uniform stays crisp and you look presentable! I have never had anyone do a great job as Young's on my uniforms. I wish every cleaner's standards were as high as theirs. Unfortunately, now I have to iron my own uniform... it's just not worth taking it to other drycleaners when I could get the same results at home. Another great thing about them is that when they tell you that your clothes will be ready in X-number of days, it's always ready!!

Phantasy Central is another business in Spring Lake, NC that offers books, comic books, and collectible cards (baseball, basketball, hockey, football, Pokemon, Yugi-Oh, etc). They also stock figures, magazines, shirts, and wall decorations. There are so many things to please a collector at Phantasy Central.
From time to time, they even have a barbeque cookout right in front of the store. They have the typical hotdogs and hamburgers... but best of all, they have BBQ chicken that is so yummy!
If you have a card or two in your collection that you want to sell, the owner gives a fair price for them! He's a die hard Jordan fan.

They also have cards which children (and adults) love: Pokemon, Yugi-Oh, and other children's favorites. If you love other sports memorabilias such as figurines, jerseys, and photographs they have that, too! They have signed ones and unsigned ones at a cheaper price.
For women, they also have figurines that are often seen at the mall and catalogs for a higher price. If they don't have it in stock, ask Dedeaux and he tries his best to obtain it for you.
The owners are very friendly and very family oriented.

Edward McKay Used Book Stores is a great place to get used/previously owned books, video games, video games systems, cds, and DVDs. The also do trades for the items you no longer need and would like to get store credit for in return. The give you a fair price for these items that are just taking up space in your home. Our kids love this place because the store has a great selection for a fraction of the price that you would pay for in a retail store. Once in a while, they would have a stack of books that you can have for free.

St. Joseph's Hospital is a great place is you're pregnant and in search of a local hospital to deliver your baby. I highly recommend this place because the nurses genuinely and truly care for you and your newborn.
We were taken care of immediately upon walking through the emergency double doors. This was a blessing considering it takes several hours to be seen at other hospitals. The nurses were very friendly and fast in getting me the proper care. In no time, I was prepped and ready to deliver.
Unexpectedly, my baby and I had to stay a little longer than the customary 1-2 days hospital stay postpartum. Our dear baby had to stay at the NICU, but the staff kept my spirits alive by giving me confidence in them. Even though there were many mother delivering and they needed the bed space,
they even made sure that I had a room so I can tend to our baby. They cared for our baby as if our newborn was their own... they cared for me as if I were their own. They were very caring and this is one experience that I will always treasure. Thank you!

In my opinion, The Keys is one of the top clubs in Tucson. It is very modern,
spacious, and very appealing. This club offers several rooms where you can lounge, order drinks, order food, and/or watch television. There's even a coat room when you first walk in--- just in case you want to leave your jacket behind.
The patrons here actually take the time to dress to impress. The dance floor is usually crowded with people having a great time. There is a mix of early twenties to "I'm old, but I'm not dead" crowd. This is a place where you would want to stay 'til closing time.
Now for the negatives: 1) Since this place is HOT, it's so difficult to find parking!! 2) Although the DJ is great, the dance floor is too small. 3) The bathroom is too shabby... it's out of place compared to the other rooms. You would think that with such a chic place, they could make the bathroom a little nicer. 4)Where are the drink specials?? Hence, bring some $$$.

The Bum Steer has 2 levels where they play different types of music. The music is awesome, but the crowd is definitely questionable. We've been here once and had a great time. If you're brave, this would be a great place to frequent. However, I think we'll pass on this one should the opportunity arise once again.
