After you spend some time in this cozy community library, you can take your squirmy youngin' outside to their playground area. As a nanny, I spent many a happy hour there! This park has a "track" where your child can run or ride around and around without you having to trail behind. It's a relatively flat area, so you can see them as they burn off energy! The playground itself isn't anything to scream about, but it's surrounded by a great view and plenty of grass.

One of the best things about this beach is their fresh water stream that flows into the water. It's cold, but it doesn't matter to those kids who just want to dig, wade, climb, and build damns. So, if you have a child (crawler on up), it's an awesome place to go sit and let your kids roam. You can see them, but you don't have to join them - it's really shallow and there's room for all!

Run by brothers, I have found them to be one of a small handful of auto repair shops that you can depend on being honest! We've been using High Road for years now...there was even a time when we brought in our Honda for some work we knew was going to be pricey, and they told us that it didn't need to be done at all in this type of car. They could have taken advantage of us, but they didn't. Only thing is that they mainly work only with Honda's and Toyota's so we have to take our Infiniti elsewhere.

Believe me, you'll never miss the carnage when you go here! I went there with my husband and his two friends from out of town - we were blown away - and they are big, hefty people who usually eat a lot of meat! This is definitely the best food in Seattle...you don't have to be vegetarian to enjoy.

This has always been my favorite place for a classy date in Seattle! You can dress up or down and the food is AMAZING (especially the mac 'n cheese, fried chicken, and hot fudge sunday)! The colors and warmth of the large, open room combined with the warmth of the servers just makes you leave feeling happy - always a big plus. When we go to have drinks, dinner, and dessert, we usually expect to pay about $100. a head.

Great time for vegging if your kids are needing to burn some energy! Just don't think about the germs, noise, and food, and you're fine. They stamp you and your child, so they can't be taken out by anyone but you - a little assurance if you loose track of them in the mess of children. Also, if you arrive for dinner a little early, like 4ish, then you can leave when it starts to get too insane around 5:30/6pm. Avoid the weekend altogether if your in any way claustrophobic!

I recently had surgery, and when I was recovering and began eating real food again, my husband stopped by and got some subs for dinner...man, it HIT THE SPOT! Delicious, and now in Lynnwood!

They have an hour of free play on all their equipment that's worth driving for! It's from 11:45 - 1:15pm now, and they move everything around so it's appropriate for kids under 5 yrs. old. My son has a hay day swinging from the bars, jumping in the foam pit, running on their long trampolines, and climbing to his heart's content. Then, when times up, they all line up for their stamp, so when you're ushering them out of the fun and getting their shoes back on, they are so distracted by the stamp that they are ready to go before they have time to complain about leaving! HINT: Feed them an early lunch so they can fall asleep in the car on the way home.
P.S. Even though it is WONDERFUL if you have a baby in tow - you still have to pay for them if they crawl - $6.

This location is the best one I've seen so far (of course, I can only compare it to the Queen Anne and University locations)! One word - PARKING...and lots of it! It's well organized, stocked, and if you go on a week day, it's not too crowded. It's also located RIGHT next to an Albertson's and a Half-price Books, so when you're done shopping, you can put the groceries in the car, go pick up a book you've been wanting, and go get the other junk food you're family doesn't really need but you need to get anyway! It's awesome.

I was sooo excited to have this store that everyone raved about right by my new home, but my experience left me not wanting to return. Okay, it was during a sale, to give it a little break, but it was a weekday afternoon, so I expected more. I had to wait in line for about 30 min. (not easy with a squirmy 2 yr. old), no one wanted/could help me, no one smiled, and they ended up being really rude to me when one of my items wasn't tagged - they have to run back and find the item, etc..So, you may have fun shopping - they do have lots of stuff, but just go prepared to entertain your child in line and buy from people who may be far from happy to work there!
