When you visit Maple Leaf Pet Corner you will find a veterinarian who really cares about your pet. Dr. Karen Konz has been taking care of my pets for years - long before she took over this clinic - and all of my dogs LOVE her! They know she will poke and prod them and yet they are thrilled they see her. She is also a very reasonable, sensible person and wont recommend unnecessary, costly treatments. She wants the very best for your pets and you.

Mighty Yumm!!

The first time I had Mighty-O Donuts it was because they were in the coffee shop case and I wanted a donuts. I have to admit that had I been told the were organic and vegan I might not have tried them assuming organic and vegan equaled not yummy. Thank god I didn't know what I was eating because these things are delish! I have yet to make it to the retail store but am thankful my coffee shop stocks them on Fridays - and my waistline is thankfully that is only on Fridays. I would have to say that Top Pot Donuts are prettier but Mighty-O Donuts are tastier!

I'd had several friends recomend Pies & Pints and had been looking forward to checking it out for quite awhile. It's a nice little place, the bar in the back is really cozy and everyone who works there is really nice. We were a bit disapointed by the size of the pies though. Luckily I'd had a big lunch because when my tiny little pie came to the table with nothing to go with it I was a bit surprised. I'll go back again but I will just know that a pie doesn't make up a whole dinner.

I don't enjoy getting my hair cut and have been looking for a new hair dresser for sometime now. A friend recommended Seven and I decided to give it a try. Having been to Seven and Riley twice now, I couldn't be happier. Riley is great, the salon is very nice and my hair cut was great from day one until I went back about 7 weeks later. I have heard that the Bellevue store with the DJ is pretty loud and I hope Seattle doesn't follow suit.

While I was working in the mortgage business I had to contact BECU on occasion to get payoff quotes and such. The people there were always so nice that I decided to open a BECU account for myself. I also had a WAMU account and for quite awhile mostly used it because that is where all of my bill pay accounts and such were already established. However recently I've transferred everything to BECU and couldn't be happier. At WAMU it takes a week to pay a bill using their online bill pay service, at BECU as little as 2 days! The customer service has been excellent, it took just a few minutes to open an additional account and they made getting an auto loan easy as well. Their customer service has never failed to please me!

My coworkers and I enjoyed a spa afternoon together at Ummelina. While the experience was not flawless, I felt they made every effort to make up for the mistakes we experienced. Our initial appointments were somehow lost and we had to reschedule. To make up for this inconvenience we all received a lovely gift basket and were treated to the tea service when we arrived for our reschedule. The tea service was great and we each enjoyed our individual services. I had a facial and was thrilled to find it included a mini massage and upon request she even did my eyebrows. I can't wait to go back.
