Early Steps for your child

If you have a young child and suspect a problem with them developmentally then this is the place to go. I was hesitant at first, but after a few pushes in my back from my sister i decided to go. I worked with Gail Dunlop, RN. She is the Service Coordinator of "Early Steps" in the pediatric division. What they do is they try to start helping you and your child in the process to help with their needs. My child has speech delays and they picked up on it at our first meeting. The staff there are very friendly and house warming. After hearing everyone i was not nervous at all. My son went to them right away and showed no signs of feeling out of place. Almost like we've been there before. This service will continue to work with your child till they are 3 years of age and then they send you to the school board of your county that you live in. Even after you are done with their services you can continue to contact them if you may need any help or if you just need to talk to someone about a question you may have about your child.
This is a great place to check out and sign up for if the services may be right for you.
