My experience with Dr. Rankin and with all the doctors in that practice was mediocre at best. I had an HMO at the time and my visits barely lasted 10 minutes. On top of which they failed to catch my high blood pressure until I was in labor and I had preecalmpsia by then and had to be put on mag/sulf. Plus they let me go to 42 weeks literally and I was in labor for 36 hours and saw one doctor for 5 minutes in the hospital and a different one delivered me. I had such a bad experience with them, they were not kind or caring and I felt like they really couldn't be bothered with my pregnancy. The only male doctor in the practice kept insisting that I was too small to deliver naturally and that my daughter would get stuck in my pelvis and I would have to have a cesarean section. When I told Dr. Rankin her response was " Oh, he always says that kind of stuff!" That is not very reassuring. My pregnancy was fairly normal, but they ignored my high blood pressure and put me and my daughter at risk. I would never recommend them to anyone!!
