Bitter Lake is a small little center located in the Broadview area. Its a nice place to bring your children to for there are lots of fun activities for them. It next to a lake that you can go swimming in, or there is also a little wading pool for the little ones. They also feature a playground with slides and swings. Inside the community center you will find a gym with basketball hoops, a little ping pong center, vending machines, a computer station and more. There gym facility is used for many purposes such as ballet practice, karate, senior dances, piano lessons and more. They seasonly hold BBQ's there and arrange camps for youth. If you live in the Ballard area or around, and you want to go swimming, the Ballard Pool is a good spot. It is located right next to Ballard Highschool. The Ballard pool has pretty much everything, many lap swimming lanes, a huge pool for swimming, a diving board, swing, water pool, lockers to lock your stuff in, showers, and some equipment for exercising. It is very inexpensive, fun, and healthy. They also have swim classes that you can sign up for any age, they even have baby swim lessons for toddlers ages 6months and up! Great place for the community.

After I gave birth to my first baby, I had trouble breastfeeding. In the meantime, I needed to pump my milk so I wouldn't feel engorged. With breastpumps being so expensive, I couldn't afford to buy one at the time. So my hospital referred me to Apria Healthcare. They delivered a breast pump right to my door and let me rent it for as long as I needed it. That was very helpful. Their prices are reasonable and they do all of the delivering and picking up. After all, after you have a baby, its harder to find time to run errands, thats why it helped a lot. Apria also rents and delivers other home medical equipment. They do outstanding service, always on time, and their staff and workers and very friendly.

I personally am not against either, but some people like either or. If you are more on the natural side I think this company would be good for you. Baby Diaper Services provides cotton, soft, and clean diapers and delivers them right to you. After you are done with a batch, you call them up, they pick up the dirty ones and bring you fresh ones. Its pretty much like a rental service with a pickup, and it's quite nice if you don't like doing laundry or going out to constantly buy disposables. Its also very handy if you don't have a lot of time. Everything is brought to you and taken away. Their prices are pretty reasonable too. If you are interested, you should check them out.

This is one of the most finest performances I've seen in Seattle. And its not just any show, the performers interact with the audience and let them be a part of it. They have all sorts of performers; comedians, clowns, musicians, trapeze performers, and more. The food is scrumptious and the performance is outstanding. But you have to make your reservations ahead of time, and they get booked pretty quickly. This is a pricy entertainment, but I believe that you get what you pay for. So dress up, grab your date, and enjoy an astonishing night at Teatro Zinzanni!

If you are pregnant and aren't sure on who you want your provider and doctor to be, I highly recommend the Group Health Midwives on Capitol Hill. I first started out with a doctor, and felt like I didn't have enough time to sit down with them and ask them all the questions that I had as it was my first time being pregnant. After switching to the midwives, I was relieved. There are 5 rotating midwives and you get to meet all 5 of them at different appointments so that when you give birth, you will be familiar with the one who will deliver your baby. They were all so nice and friendly, and when we sat down to talk about my pregnancy, I had all the time in the world to ask as many questions that I wanted and talk freely about anything. They really went into depth about everything that I needed to know. When the time came and I had my contractions, they were really good at letting me choose whatever position I wanted to be in,(which the doctor's don't really let you do) and helped me with breathing techniques and positions that might make things more comfortable and smoother. What I like about midwives vs. doctors is that they don't believe in medical intervention. There is no such thing as a baby being too big and needing a c-section in their book, therefore they will not force you to do anything that you don't want to do as long as the baby isn't in critical danger. Try them out, they are excellent.
