Lincoln Park has baseball fields, tennis courts, plenty of childrens playgrounds, a kiddy wading pool, a salt water heated pool, beach access, and lots of paths and trails for walking or jogging. It has many different pottery pieces that were created for the customer, they get to choose whichever piece they want, and paint it themselves! Its a fun and crafty idea. They give you all the stuff like the paint, brushes, water, sponges, and more. After you paint it, you leave it for them and they glaze it for you. Once its done, you just pick it up and pay for only the pottery. Its great to go to with a friend for fun, or do a little birthday party type thing.

Golden Gardens is a beautiful beach and park to visit. It is located along the water of Seaview Avenue. I've been going there for many years and they have done a lot of renovating there, and it looks a lot nicer than it did a few years back. They have a wonderful playground for kids, a bathhouse, water fountains, nice and new paths for walking, and more. Its a wonderful place to watch the sunset, take a walk, breath some fresh air, or view the Puget Sound and the Olympic Mountains. They also have an area where you can go fishing.

The Ballard Locks is a popular place to go to watch all the different boats that go through, and how the locks work to separate the fresh water from the salt water and vice versa.
