Pork Store
Saturday, June 03, 2006
This restaurant is crowded in the morning because they serve great breakfast. I like that they're not afraid of grease. All grease is not created equal. These folks know how to use it. Grease doesn't have to be the bane of all food, sometimes you need/want/crave it and the pork sausage amongst other things has it just the way you like it. We have a Pork Store in the Mission now, but really, it's not the same. In my heart, Pork Store is synonymous with the Haight and I'm not quite ready to let go. Even if you're a vegetarian, I recommend getting the pork. Especially in an omelet with cheese and mushrooms and biscuits…
