For some reason, I get wigged out by such an authentic looking deli, with such an authentic name, in a high-tourist traffic area as the Ferry Building. Like I'm in an Epcot Center animatronic reenactment of a real deli. I'm happy to say however that as Italian Delis go, this is the real deal, a spin-off of an old North Beach joint. They make their own salami and – the ultimate test – make a damn good sandwich.
