I have been to this Maggiano's a few times and it was always with a large group of people from work. It was the perfect place to have a departmental get-together, or a going-away or welcome-to party. Why is it the perfect place for that? Because you can get things served family style here and share. It's quite awesome and the portions of things are just this side of enormous.
I usually end up getting a steak here. I know, this sort of goes against my claim about the family-style. I am judging from the oohs and aahs of my companions that the family-style food is fantastic. I can certainly vouche for the steak. I usually end up with a fillet and it was always cooked perfectly and just the way I wanted it.
The layout and decor of the place is very tastefully done. We never had a problem having a conversation even when we brought a large group. The desserts are also fantastic and worth sticking around for.
