L. Woods - A Restaurant You Need to Visit

Wednesday, April 26, 2006
The restaurant known as L. Woods does not have an easy parking lot to negotiate. I will state that right up front because it is something important you should know. Wedged near the point of a kind of triangle formed by a diagonal street the size of the parking lot is not really compatible with the size of the crowd that usually lines up at this restaurant. Once you get inside, however, this is one of the finest dining experiences you will have in Chicago. If you live in or around Chicago and have not been or if you are planning on visiting Chicago you need to visit this restaurant. The location is 7110 N. Lincoln Avenue in Lincolnwood Illinois. The food is fanatastic. The Creamed Spinach is renowned and the barbecue is really first rate. I recomment the barbecued salmon, but many people swear by the ribs. The appetizers alone are usually enough of a meal for some people. The atmosphere is very friendly and cozy. Once again space can be a bit of an issue and you might have to squeeze by a few people to get to your seats. You must visit L. Woods and you must do it soon.
