This thrift store is the place to go if you want to get vintage clothing. The shop looks interesting just from the outside. Its windows have so many interesting things displayed in it. The clothing they have here is really cool too. Some of the t-shirts i have seen here are really neat and hard to find anywhere else. But be careful becasue the pricing on their stuff runs a bit high and so for me, it is more of a browsing shop than anything else!

I love this Bed Bath & Beyond location. I agree with the other reviewr about this store being a bit small, but I think that their selection is still great. They carry tons of things for around the house. Their sales are especially great here. Check out their 75% out tables here and you can almost always find something worthwhile here. The customer service here is also really great. The people working here are really friendly and always make sure and ask if you need help with anything around the store.

J C Penney is really a great place to shop for the entire family. I really love this store because I always find great deals here on clothing, especially for the kids. They always run this awesome specials every once in a while, where many of their items are buy one get the second for a penny. This gives me the perfect opportunity to stock up for the kids and get everybody something at a reasonable price. They alos have great deals on furniture and home furnishings here. This department store really is wonderful and a great place to shop for not only your family, but your home too!

Costco is like your typical Sam's club stores. Everything here is sold in bulk and at bulk prices. Just like Sam's, you have to pay for your yearly membership. If you have a big family or are a frequent buyer of some certian products, this is really a worthwhile place to get membership at because the savings really add up. This Costco store is really nicely organized and they have everythign here, from gourmet foods to furniture and electronics.

I used this place a few years ago when I was trying to create a scrapbook for my wedding. It was really a neat store and they had a lot for me to choose from. They had all the materials you could possibly need to create a scrapbook for any occassion, including weddings, showers, vacations, etc. The lady that was working here at the time was really friendly and she gave me a bunch of ideas to create my scrapbook. I haven't been back since, but my wedding scrapbook is still one of my favorite creations!

My husband always shops here for his work and formal wear shoes. This store is right on Michigan Avenue and so you can probably guess the sort of money he pays for his shoes. They do have some clearance shoes and some sales and that is when we usually try to buy. Their shoes are really nice though and look great. They also last a long time and if you are careful and keep them properly, the look great for a long time too.

This restaurant looks like nothing special from its decor. In fact when we first walked in I was kind of creeped out because this place is like a dark basement. However, the food here is really good! They give you only the best seafood and their crabs and fries are so tasty. Here, you get really fresh seafood and a lot of it. It is a very casual place and one thing to keep in mind is that they only take cash.

I always stock up with vitamins from the entire family from this shop. In my experience, I have always found it to be the best stocked shop in town. Their selection is awesome and I can find things that I need for myself and my husband plus vitamins for the kids too. The prices here are great too and they are always running specials where if you stock up you can really save a bunch.

The Jewel down the street from this Treasure Island is so jam packed that sometimes I just go here to get away from the crowds. I do like this store and love the gourmet, ethnic, and fresh items they stock. Their bakery especially is really nice and they stock a lot of really fresh baked goods here. I always find their prices to be very similar to Jewel and sometimes even a lot cheaper. Some of the specials they run here are really great and a lot better than even Jewel.

Once while we were talking the kids to Navy Pier from the AMC theater down the road, we stopped in here to pick up some ice cream for the kids. I was pretty impressed with the decor of this place and its very upscale sort of feel. They had a really great selection of foods here that included many gourmet items. BUT what amazed me was the prices here. I mean I know its in the heart of the city and all, but come on, some of these prices are seriously insane and I'm surprised anybody actually pays such high prices for groceries, even if they are gourmet.
