If you like subs and sandwiches, then you will love this place. This place is a step up from your typical Quiznos and Subway and it is absolutely amazing. They have a variety of different sandwhiches you can choose from. You start with a base sandwich, then you can add whatever extras you want (cheese, mayo, mustard, etc). The sandwiches are SO delicious it is amazing. They are really reasonably priced too! Add a bag of chips and a root beer to your meal and your set to go for any meal of the day!

The Museum of Science and Industry is my personal favorite of all the Chicago museums. There is just so much to see and do at this museum. They have really cool displays about health, the future, other cultures, and much, much more. I don't think it is possible to get bored at this museum, no matter how old you are. There is a cost to get into the museum but check with your school or work, you can usually get discounts through big organizations/institutions. Overall, an awesome place to take the entire family and enjoy a day of fun and learning.

This is an okay place to visit if you are looking for a baragain on some really nice home items. I went here to get a canister set for my mom for her birthday. Their selection was really not that great. I did find a canister set, but one of the canisters was missing a lid. When I asked the lady at the counter to help me locate it, she said I would have to look for it myself. I don't know about you, but I would rather pay a little bit more and get better service.

I think lots of people associate the best pizza in Chicago with Giordanos pizza. This pizza is truly amazing. You get a deep, thick crust topped with loads and loads of cheese and your choice of meats and veggies. The end result is one really delish pizza that is huge and filling. Order a side salad and you are set to go! One thing I would have to recommend is that you eat this at the restaurant. Usually if you get it delivered or you pick it up and take it home, it cools off a bit and doesn't taste so good after it is reheated.

I think UIC is definitely a great option for school in Chicago. For one, it is really really reasonably priced. While most of the private schools in Chicago will run you well over $18,000, this place is a big money saver. The quality of education here is great too. They have a huuuge campus and lots of students here so there's a great social life at this school. Academically, they offer lots of classes here and have some great programs to take advantage of. Overall, this is a great option for your studies, because you will be getting a great education, a wonderful experience, and all that for a reasonable price.

I think when it comes to subs, I am a bigger fan of Subway. But Quiznos can be a good change every once in a while. I think their sandwhiches are definitely more expensive than the ones at Subway, but I find them to be a lot bigger and more filling as well. This location is nice and the people that work here are really friendly. They will offer you all their specials and extra condiments (even though you have to pay extra for most of them) and they make you sandwhich pretty fast and to perfection. Overall, a good place to go every once in a while for a tasty, toasted sandwhich.

This is a really cute little "take away" shop that recently opened up in Lincoln Park. This place carries only cupcakes (as suggested by its name). They are highly specialzed in their one product and carry lots of unique flavores like strawberry banana that are hard to find elsewhere. The cupcakes are all beautifully decorated and very nicely presented. Just seeing them makes you want to try all the different kinds!

Most teas you get at standard shops and stores are not quite as tasty as this place. They let you try plenty of samples and you will be sure to be hooked to at least one. Try one of their tea lattes to go or you can even buy loose tea to take home and make yourself. A dream come true for an avid tea fan and a must try for a tea novice!

They have lots of options for toppings. While you can choose the usual lettuce and tomatoes, try the meditarranean toppings as well. The falafel, hummus, yogurt, and/or chickpeas also make great topping for this delicious sandwhich. The turkey and all the fillings are always fresh and make for a very delicious sandwhich!

Build A Bear workshop is a really cute store. I think it is aimed more towards young children, but I think adults too love this store. Basically, you get to come in, pick a teddy bear, pick out its clothing and accessories, and put it all together! There's lots of fun themes to choose from. I actually got my sister one of these for her graduation (all decked out in a grad gown and cap). Its a wonderful and sweet place to be whether your a kid or all grown up!
