Portillos is the place to go if you want a good hot dog in Chicago. Their chili dog and cheese fries are the best that I have ever had in my life. They also have tons of other things to try here. I think everything, besides the lasgna, that I have had here has been really, really tasty. They have some great hamburgers and onion rings as well. This place is always busy but the service is fast so you are never waiting long. you will also leave pretty full and happy.

Golf Mill Mall is actually a pretty boring mall. Its not one of those malls you can go to with a bunch of friends and hang out for a couple of hours. There's just not enough to do there for that long. But they do have a few great stores like Target, Kohls, and JC Penney. The only thing I hate about this malll is having to walk through Sears to get to the other side. I feel that makes the mall a bit weirdly organized and scattered. But hey, you can always just drive from store to store!

Old Navy is one of my favorite places to shop. The clothes here are trendy, comfortable, and reasonably priced. This Old Navy is right inside of a mall. The store is pretty big and very well organized. There are lots of clothes here for men, women, and children. At the back of the store, there is a clearance section where things are marked down as low as 75% at times, which is a real deal because their prices are pretty low to begin with. The customer service here is just okay. Last time I was in the store, it took me a long time to get somebody to unlock one of the fitting room doors for me.

Jamba Juice is definitely a great place to check out if you are into fruit smoothies. This place has some of the best smoothies and they come in all different flavors and varieties. I love their strawberry banana smoothies here. They are really huge so make sure that you are either really hungry or that you have someone to share the drink with. You can also add some extra boosts to your smoothies that are supposed to give you extra vitamens and energy!

This is a really small store in Lincoln Park that carries accessories for the home. The store is small, but it is well kept with numerous lamps, mirrors, and paintings. If there are a few people in the store, it can become quite cramped and hard to get around. But it is defintely worth stopping in at and taking a look because their stuff is so nice. Some of their stuff is pricey, but the quality of all their products is great and everything is unique.

I think this the place that serves up the best Chicago style deep dish pizza. It has a great, flaky crust that is not too greasy. It is then topped with really yummy cheese, tomatoes, and any other topping you would like to have. Besides the pizza, there are lots of other great items on the menu. Last time I was here, I tried their grilled salmon. Boy, was it good! I would never had expected Uno's to have great seafood, but it did. So, this is a great place to go not only for pizza, but lots of other things too!

Connie's pizza is another one of the many places in Chicago to get a pizza. Their pizza is not the best you will find in Chicago, but it is still pretty decent. They have a good sized deep dish pizza that is pretty tasty and filling. They also have a huge menu filled with lots of other options, like calamari and salads. Service overall here is good and you will have a good experience here. Plus, you really can't complain because they have free parking included!

Baskin Robbins brings back a lot of memories from my childhood. I have been going here forever and still have not tired from their ice cream. Their mint chocolate chip ice cream is probably the best from anywhere I have tried it. But even better than that are their really tasty ice cream cakes!! They have one with mint chocoalte chip ice cream, chocolate cake, and chocolate syrup. That combination is amazing and I can have it every day - celebration or not!

If you work or live downtown, this little thai place is great for you. Its kind of hard to find, but if you look for their neon signs outside you will spot it. Their food is decent and is always fresh. You get a lot for your money here. The noodle dishes are plenty here, including pad thai. They have a large menu and everything I have tried here has always been good. The only thing that sucks about this place is that it is not BYOB.

Do you like eggs? Well then this is the place for you. The entire menu is based on eggs and every item on their menu has egg somehow incorporated into it. Their menu is large and so if you are an avid fan of eggs, you will find many choices on here. My favorite item is the french toast. It is made to perfection, with sweet syrup. This place is a real hot spot on the weekends so try to get in a bit early and expect a bit of a wait, especially on the weekends.
