I stopped going here a while back. The owner was too high strung and depressing. I saw great comedians there, but I suffered while doing it. Why not just charge a ticket price that includes a drink and leave us alone to watch comedy?
And please, stop getting awful opening acts. It was painful at times. I've only done stand-up a few times and I swear I almost ripped the mic out of a few hands to take over...my grandma tells funnier stories.
It's too bad Seattle has such a bad comedy scene cause we have a lot of funny people here. I agree with other reviewers that this place needs an overhaul and the owner needs a few sessions of therapy.

As a non-yoga person, I really liked the class I took here. I had a back injury years back and I have suffered in yoga every since. But not here! I took a gentle class that actually WAS gentle. The teacher paid attention and let me know other poses to do instead. There was a non-competitive feeling and I left feeling good about yoga again. The teachers at WLY are really good. They aren't trying to pack the class or move everyone at the same pace.
I hear the teacher training is also really great.

I get a great no cheese pizza that has quickly become my favorite. And the fact that there are more little places that deliver, is nice too.
They have deals every once in a while which helps cut down the expense. Although, good pizza is good pizza.

Too bad REI isn't a singles club...everyone is so hot!
They have great sales people who are helpful and easy going. If you're a member, there's an unbeatable return policy. Twice a year there's a garage sale where you can go and pick up all sorts of things that have been returned for CHEAP. REI has adventure tours too, which is really neat. You can rent the space upstairs for an event too. It's an awesome store and they constantly change things around which makes it more interesting. Being a member is nice because you get a dividend at the end of the year and if you buy a lot of gear (at full price) then you get some money back. It's not really worth it unless you buy a lot though.
Overall, I like the one-stop shopping aspects...camping, biking, travel, climbing, skiing, all in one store.

I'm never disappointed with the folks at Chow Foods (Jitterbug, Coastal Kitchen, 5 Spot, Atlas, and Endolyne Joe's). Their food is consistently delicious. They staff are great. Their decor is classic. Their remodel of the firehouse is really nice, down to the brass fireman details and the pole that has been cut, but shows you where it used to be. I order the French toast sometimes, but then I bring a toothbrush because it is SO sweet. Other things I've ordered were yummy as well. I also like a menu with personality. I'm happy that Hi Life came to Ballard...

It doesn't keep me from a Coco Chai-nel or a Ruby Tuesday but I tend to take the drink and run.
I also try to go when there isn't music playing...it's rare that I've found it any good, but hey, I'm the outsider...
Morning Glory Chai is really great and the flavored chais are super delicious. I'm so glad this place is doing well in a coffee dominated city (and neighborhood). And I'm also very thankful that they carry Mighty-O Donuts.

I'll say it. The store makes me a bit uncomfortable. Sure, I'd like to know how something fits on a person, but does that person have to be half-naked, sprawled all over a grungy couch in a dark basement and under 16? (who knows how old they really are)
I LOVE the clothes. I LOVE feeling good about supporting American labor. I just wish I didn't have to be bombarded with underage "photography."
I have a few concerns about company policies, but I like AA's underwear and pants and classic sense of style...plus, the colors are great. It's worth the money because I know I'm not making people work in sweat shops or go hungry half the time.

Although I don't shop here a lot, my fiance does almost all his shopping here. They have great deals on designer clothes and we can still afford rent after shopping here. They have very stylish stuff (it's not a bunch of reject sizes or styles) and it's fun to hunt around.
The women's section feels a bit overwhelming, but that's because I never know where to start. Go with some time, because you may end up hunting for a bit for the perfect thing. It's best to go at off-peak times as lines can be long and it can be crowded. But it's almost worth it when I can get a nice bathing suit for $9 (both pieces).

If you breakfast in Seattle a lot, don't miss this cute place. It's in an old house, which almost makes the food taste better. There is a wait, but you'll find that at most breakfast places and of course there's a reason.
They have interesting twists on dishes, friendly staff, and it's laid back (not in a bad way). Have a hot beverage while you wait or don't go too hungry...
