Fancy, Classy

Thursday, April 20, 2006
Because Seattle is so casual, there aren't a lot of places where it's cool to be dressed up...or at least not blatantly obvious. We went here for dinner before the opera and it was fabulous. There aren't a lot of vegetarian options, which seems silly in Seattle, but the chef made a lovely meal for me without the meat and I had no problem feeling full and satisfied. There are small portions, but I think good food should be in small quantities. It's also a bit expensive, but it's a nice treat once in a while. The staff was great too. Not up in my grill (which I dislike when I am in the romance zone) or constantly filling my water glass...Dessert...YUM.
