I first visited the Graceful Planet at their location at the Mill in Sandy Hook. They've since moved to Berkshire Road in Sandy Hook (that much closer to my house!).
The programs there range from musical theater to all kinds of dance (ballet to hip hop) for all ages! My daughter took her first "creative movement" class there. I've done yoga, am tempted to try Pilates and will be starting and adult "Ballet Workout" in a few weeks.
The dance/yoga rooms are large, airy, spacious and just plain "feel good."
The prices are very reasonable, you can buy "class cards" that allow you to try a lot of different classes at a bulk rate. It's easy to get to (just across the street from Newtown High School) and the parking is good.

We recently bought a discount coupon for Sal e Pepe. It was a great deal. It really prompted us to make an effort to get out more! We've been to Sal e Pepe for dinner twice in the past two weeks and to lunch once.
The food is fantastic! The atmosphere is lively and charming. Dress is casual. The prices are moderate. The wine list has a wide range of prices, so you're sure to find something in your budget. The children's menu prices are great. It's a terrific place for a family dinner.
Sal e Pepe is easy to get to on Route 25 South in Newtown. There is parking in front and around the back of the building.

We came to see Dr. Testa on the advice of our pediatrician, Dr. Anthony Wayne, many years ago. He told me that she is the best pediatric neurologist in the state. Although Guilford is about a 45 minute ride for us, the trip is well worth it.
Dr. Testa has always been available when we needed her (and when she wasn't available, Dr. Levy has been there at a moment's notice.) Dr. Testa listens to our input and feedback on the medicines she's prescribing for my son, about side effects and all the things that a parent knows best about her child.
The office is set up with an EEG lab on site that is, for a child, world away from having to have an EEG at the hospital!! There is a comfortable chair and a quiet room. The EEG technician is both competent and friendly, yet firm when she needs to be.
Carla the receptionist is just wonderful - caring and kind, prompt and efficient.
Overall I can't say enough about this group. If you live in Connecticut and need an excellent pediatric neurology team, I highly recommend Child Neurology and Drs. Levy and Testa.

Dr. Anthony Wayne of Children's Medical Associates in Ansonia has been our pediatrician since my son was newborn. We've been through lots of interesting things together - on his third day of life my son experienced severe hypoglycemia and had to be hospitalized for three weeks.
Dr. Wayne has consistently been available to me for emergencies or just questions and concerns. He helps me see the wry side of life and makes me laugh. My children love him - he makes them laugh too.
I highly recommend Children's Medical Associates in Ansonia, we have gotten nothing but the best of care from them.

The prices on ATA were lower than others I could find to Phoenix from New York, but when our flight was delayed on the ground and we sat in the plane for 2 hours, I asked for some water and the reply was "Do you want us to sell you some water?" When I asked for a pillow on the flight from Chicago to NY I was told I could purchase a pillow and blanket for $6.95.
I was also disappointed with the customer service. I had booked an E-ticket and when I checked in at the kiosk I got only 1 boarding pass and another card that said I had to get my seat assignment at the gate. When I arrived at the layover gate there were no ATA employees in sight. The flight was due to leave at 5:45pm and there was a line of about 30 people in front of an empty gate counter at about 4:25pm.

Steaks & Sticks at the Los Abrigados Resort is elegant and comfortable. We didn't take advantage of the "Sticks" (playing pool) but we loved the steaks. The food was excellent, the service was prompt and friendly.
Our waitress was terrific and when there was a slight confusion about one of the three separate checks we asked for, she said she would "make it better" and she did - we got at least one of our drinks on the house!
I highly recommend Steaks and Sticks.

We arrived in Sedona late one summer evening and found that our first choice option for a quick dinner, the Blue Moon Cafe, was closed. They apologized profusely and referred us to an Italian Restaurant called Pago's down the street.
I popped in to ask if it was too late to place take-out order. The woman at the desk went to the kitchen to ask and when she returned, she said I could order. She took out an order pad. I said "I don't know what I want yet. May I go out an tell my girlfriend that we can order?" And she said "Hurry Up!"
I walked out, got in the car and we drove away. Yes, I know we were there late, but is that any way to treat a potential customer??
