The Green Planet Market in Oakville, CT is a fantastic organic and natural foods market. They have a variety of foods for special needs (wheat-free, gluten-free, sugar-free) as well as a large variety of natural and organic foods.
They have a natural foods deli on-site, they sell all kinds of dry goods, produce, earth-friendly cleaning products and personal care items.
The parking is ample and they are located not too far north of the Route 8 / Route 84 interchange.
Green Planet also has a food co-op. Members of the co-op can buy natural foods in bulk (or split cases with other members) at near wholesale prices.
