After buying our house, we asked the builder where we should buy paint. They recommended Seattle Paint Supply because that is where most contractors around town buy theirs. Home Depot/Lowes is extremely frowned upon because their products just don't last over time. This also applies for deck sealers, etc. Another perk is that the staff there really know about paint, and will help you select the products/supplies that are just right for you. There are many Seattle Paint Supply locations all over town, so I'm sure there is one in your area!

Most pizza places have little to offer in the ambiance department..But Belltown Pizza is an exception to that! Dimly lit, boldly painted, an eclectic variety of music playing, and a handful of high back booths make this place unique. I love thin crust pizza, and honestly, we have stopped picking up the phone to order a pizza, and have started going out - it's that good! They have a large variety of pizza suggestions, but also offer quite a few toppings if you like to be creative. Their sandwiches and salads are quite good as well. Don't forget to order a drink or two when you are there (you may not need any more - they are quite stiff for the price)..The is friendly, and fun to engage with while sitting at the bar.

All my friends had talked about the Brown Bag Cafe, and how great it was, and I trusted them so much that I decided to take my bridesmaids there the morning before my wedding!
Servings at this place are absolutely huge! But most places that serve up mounding piles of food typically aren't that great...The Brown Bag is a definite exception! From their skillets/scrambles, to the cinnamon rolls, french toast or even country fried steak and eggs...Its all wonderful!
This place is pretty popular, so the only down side is that you may have to wait a decent amount before getting in. My recommendation would be to go either before or after the breakfast rush....Did I mention the lunch service is just as great as breakfast?

I hired Smith's Painting to waterproof and seal our deck and fence. They did an absolutely fabulous job, and the pricing was great! Tyler was extremely courteous, and was extremely flexible with regards to coming out and doing an estimate, and scheduling the job to be done. Though he did exterior work for us, I have seen interior work that he has done, and I guarantee that he would do just as great of a job! I am more than likely going to hire them to paint the inside of our home, as I hate doing it myself!!!

I am going to preface this review with the fact that I am a picky eater. It is rare that I can find a meal on a menu that doesn't have at least one item in it I don't like. And Agua Verde is no exception. BUT, because of all the hub bub I have heard about this place (including on the FoodNetwork!) I decided to give it a whirl. I went with co-workers the first time, and I was a bit perturbed to see a huge line out the door. Thankfully it was a nice day, and it didn't take too long to get my order in. Things are a bit chaotic there; tables are hard to get, people bus their own dishes, but the food my friends is great! Like I said before, I am a picky eater, but this place has made me realize that the perfrect balance of ingredients can please evey the most particular pallets! I have been back several times, and will continue to do so. Try to go a little before or after the lunch/dinner crowd, and you should be able to get in no problem!

My husband was somewhat leary of getting a massage..Not sure exactly why. I asked around and one of my friends recommended Erin Usher at Maya Whole Health in Fremont. Erin is the owner of the business, and for some reason, she is the cheapest practitioner there! She charges a mere $70 for an hour and a half massage. My husband came home completely revitalized, and she actually went a little long because he was the last client of the day!

Hiroshi's is absolutely fabulous! They have a great selection of rolls and sushi, and it is at a really good price. All of the fish has execellent texture, temerature and taste. I have personally taken a hands on sushi class from Hiroshi himself, and he really knows his stuff. They also have a full bar :) Try out the dragon roll. Its delicious! Very few sushi bars have great ambiance, but this restaurant doesn't strike me as a hole in the wall kind of place.

Even though this store is up in Everett, it is totally worth the drive and delivery charges (about $65 to Seattle). My mom first told me about this place, and when we bought our new house, we eventually made it up there when everything we found at Macys, Levitz, etc just wasn't striking our interest. Most of the store is filled w/ heavy oak furniture, but if you are looking for great dining or living room furniture, they have a ton of different styles. The great thing is that you can also customize the fabircs on your couches, chairs etc. We purchased two different sofa/chair/ottoman sets for under $1300 each! Only down side is that they will undoubtedly have to order your items, which will take a variable amount of time. If you have the time to wait, it is well worth it!
