I have taken both of my dogs through the puppy kindergarten and basic obedience classes at Go Great Dog in Northgate. The instructors are very knowledgable, and they offer a ton of other classes and services as well (daycare, dog walking, overnights, grooming, etc). One thing to keep in mind is that a training class is only as good as the effort you put into the homework and the time you spend with your dog. Good luck!!!

Crystal Panes did a fabulous job for one of my friends, and he recommended them to us. We had a four story townhouse, and to clean all 15 or so windows it was under a hundred dollars! Plus for a little extra they will clean the insides including the tracks. I would definitely use them again!

If you live in Seattle proper, Magnuson Park near Sandpoint/U-District is great! They have an area for the small and shy, as well as a huge area for the big and brave. The larger area includes acess to the water for swimming, which is great for those that like to swim and fetch sticks, balls and the like.
If it is absolutely disgusting out, Go Great Dog on Roosevelt offers fun runs every Saturday. 30lbs and over is from 11:45-1:15, while the smaller breeds are from 1:30-3. The charge is $3 per dog, but it is worth its weight in gold when its more than a little nasty outside...

I got certified at Underwater Sports about 4 years ago, and both the instructors and the people who work in the show are great. During the winter time, they often have a buy one get one free deal on certification classes because not a lot of people want to get wet in the chilly months, but its definitely worth it. It was actually warmer in the water than it was outside when we took our final dives at Alki.
The staff is very well educated, and has tons of dives under their belts. They are extremely patient with the students that are having a harder time...Not to mention that I have never met a diver I didn't like!

They offer gift certificates, just give them a call! I did this as a gift for one of my friends' baby shower, and she absolutely loved it!

Though it is a bit expensive, the brunch at Salty's on the weekend (both Saturday and Sunday) is fabulous! They have a whole room devoted to sweets! Along with the standard brunch fare of eggs/crepes/waffles, they typically have fresh dungeness crab, clams, oysters, and mussels! The view of downtown is pretty much the best you can get. Definitely make a reservation, and be ready to wait a bit even if you do have one, as it is an extremely popular place.

The Ram in U-Village is a great place to go to watch sports. I have gone down several times with co-workers to watch the Tour for lunch, and even though it isn't on the big screen, the watiresses are more than happy to change the station for you...Its also a great place to watch Husky sports, but be aware that this place fills up quick for high profile events. Sunday nights are great here - they have a special where everything is half price from 10pm-midnight, and they serve from their full dinner menu until 11. Food is pretty good, and they definitely have a wide variety to chose from. Try out items off their summer menu - the fillet mignon sandwich is fabulous! If you aren't up for the noise during sporting events, you can head over to the restaurant and enjoy the menu from there!

I went to Dr. Edward Blahous at the Sports Medicine Clinic in Ballard awhile ago for general foot problems that arose due to soccer. He is extremely knowledgeable, and friendly. He also is very conscious of how expensive certain treatments can be, so he makes sure to give you alternatives. The office has a very nice atmosphere.
