This quarters main heading is called "I was just wondering..." some of the topics they've talked about is "I was just wondering...why is good friday called good?" and "I was just wondering...why do we say God Bless America? what about all those other countries?" The staff and students are very friendly and make the environment comfortable so come check it out!

Cascade Pizza has to be hands down the best eating joint in the city of Bellingham. Their Pizzas are second to none in the town and I feel that they're very reasonably priced. Once you have one bite you will become a regular customer for Nick and the gang. Besides pizza they also have delicious lasagna which you can get also with meatballs, pepperoni, sausage, or mushrooms baked in. They serve it with great garlic bread and a salad and it really fills you up. Sundays are the best days to go because you can get free pop for the family which will save you more money. Just writing about this is making me want to get some Cascade Pizza!

Located in Bellingham, Washington WWU sits a top Sehome hill looking over beautiful Bellingham Bay. The campus is truly beautiful compared to others around the state like Eastern Washington where it is dry and brown. WWU is also notoriously known for it's education and business programs. Also being so close to mt baker a lot of students that I have talked to say they come to Western for that reason. The great education is a plus or maybe its the other way around? Nonetheless I love Western. Although the campus is very liberal for the most part the people are extremely friendly and not stuck up. The classes are fairly decent sized too once you get into your program.

Haggen is a locally owned Grocery store chained that is located in the Pacific Northwest. The original Haggen is in Bellingham but there are also several others around including the one in Ferndale. The Haggen deli seems to be the place of choice for most high schoolers looking to get lunch. Haggen is notoriously known for their Haggenese (chinese) food and you'll often here students talking about it. Also included in the Haggen is a starbucks. They use to have a blockbuster video but it recently went out of business thanks to Hollywood Video moving in down the road. I go to Haggen because it's relatively cheap if you have a haggen card and the only other store in town is cost cutter.

Laser Storm is a laser tag arena that is located just south of Ferndale, Washington on Pacific Highway. It's a one story arena with obstacles hanging around so you can hide from opponents. It makes for a fun time with friends but you also get very sweaty because it is so warm inside. Also beware that there are 4 "dragons" shooting at you as well where if you hit them you can gain extra points. Two of them they will show you where they're at but the other 2 are hidden and you have to find them. It's not the greatest arena that I have played at but I still have fun everytime I go.

I've been attending Cornwall church since the 5th grade and I absolutely love it. The head pastor is really funny but definitly knows his sermons and preaches relevant stuff to todays world. The youth program is amazing starting from when I first attended in 5th grade until I left when I graduated high school. It was something that I looked forward to going to every week and have fun with friends and learn about God. I hope that others find that this Church and youth group are just as amazing as I found them to be. The pastorial staff and leaders are very friendly and loving people that make you feel welcome.

Oak Bowl is the bowling center located in Oak Harbor, Washington on whidbey island. I have had the opportunity to bowl there at least 10 times so I know enough to say that the lanes itself are decent. If you shoot within 5 boards of the side though you will get a gutter ball every time for people who throw hooks. Also since they have synthetic lanes and synthetic approaches you tend to stick to the lanes when trying to slide and that can be hard on the knees. This is cuased because the viewing area is all carpet and that is where you have to sit when you aren't bowling. The thing that makes this alley so great though is their amazing garlic rolls. Everytime we would go to this center everyone on all 3 of our teams would order a dozen of them and thats not even counting all the people from the 14 other teams and parents that would show up. They truly are delicious.

Park Bowl is a bowling alley located in Bellingham, Washington in Cordata Place. The lanes are all synthetic and the scoring equipment and lanes are all fairly new. The restaurant at the bowling alley is amazing and def. worth the eat. If bowling is not what you're looking for they also have an arcade and pool tables to play on while your friends or family bowl. They also have a pro store and leagues running throughout the week. Sundays they have a promotion of buy one get one free.

In high school I had the priviledge of bowling on a school bowling travel team. Our house was Mt Baker Lanes. It was the only lanes on the circuit with wooden lanes and not synthetic but still bowling on these lanes 3-4 times a week for 3 years really felt like home to me. It was a little smokey when I bowled there but a while back a bill was passed to stop smoking in public areas. It does still smell a little and gets on your clothes but hopefully during the summer they will have a chance to air it out. There are 20 lanes to bowl on. They also have a restaurant and bar with good food. They have leagues every night and also extreme bowling on friday nights. They use to have $1 games on sundays but i'm not sure if that promotion still runs. However, I still have fun everytime I go bowling at Mt Baker Lanes.
