There is an Uncle Sam's Sub along one of the more popular streets in Oakland and, of course, it is always very busy. The sandwiches are different than Subway or Quiznos because they use fresh sliced bread, instead of buns. Also, they usually pile the lunch meat on pretty high and top it off with a large helping of fries. The ingredients are always fresh and usually the food is pretty greasy (as is expected with a large helping of fries.) Most of the subs I've ordered there are amazing and very tasty. The only complaint I have is the bread is not always thick enough and you're left with a lot of lunch meat with a little bit of bread. Overall - very tasty!
