The selection here is a bit better than decent, an offering of the general hamburgers, salads, wraps, and other food items. The location is great, located on a corner in a busier area of Orange, close to quite a few places of interest. The prices were nothing to to be amazed about (which does work for it) and the service was decent at best. There is ample parking there, and it's easily accessible. It's definitely worth checking out, so long as one isn't expecting to find a place to trump all others.

The place sure lives up to its name. Chinese food, quickly, is what they serve (not that the quickness makes it dinner and a show) and they serve that food well. The food is tasty, though there is nothing in particular that makes the food stand out (which works much more for the food than it does against it). Their prices, though, are more than reasonable. So, if in need of tasty food in a hurry, this is definitely the place to go.

Part of the wonderful set of used bookstores in Berkeley, Pegasus is definitely a place worth checking out. While not as big as other places in the area, Pegasus offers a varied selection of books, in a way that is easy to navigate. The staff there has been friendly every time I've gone there, and their prices are reasonable. It's worth a visit, though there isn't the guarantee that what's sought'll be found.

A Berkeley staple, Fat Slice is not far at all from the university campus, offering (what the name promises) a huge slice of pizza (without taking an equally large chunk out of one's wallet). The toppings vary, and their service is usually better than decent. It's a great place to go for food obtained quickly which can be eaten on-the-go.

The Music Baron is very close to the Book Baron (a great place to go for used books) and offers the same idea for different media. The Music Baron offers used records, CDs, and movies, with a moderately varied selection for each. It's a great place to browse: records cover the walls (and are available for purchase, in addition to the normal selection) and each type of media is organized in an easy-to-find-what-is-sought way. The prices tend to be a bit cheaper than buying new CDs, but there is a better chance of finding something here than most other places.

The store isn't too big, but they've got quite a selection of costumes, novelty gifts, and magic supplies. I'm not sure how much the usual cost for these items are, but to me it seemed a bit pricey. However, the store is definitely fun to browse, due to their decent supply of various novelty items. The employees are some great people, very helpful and personable. They also showcase some of the card tricks (and similar fare) in the store.

Four floors of used books? It's simply wonderful. Moe's in Berkeley has a huge selection of all types of books with the kind of employees that make scrounging in a bookstore all the more enjoyable. It's easy to get overwhelmed in the sheer number of books contained inside, but not nearly as easy as it is to marvel that an hour has passed by without even making it all the way through a single floor, and there's still the feeling of accomplishment at what has already been examined. What is especially appealing (to me) is that Moe's also contains quite the selection of sheet music and music books (along with books about music). Moe's is definitely something that should be checked out if ever in Berkeley, particularly if in search for a particular book.

Concourse Bowling Center offers a good bowling time, often in the presence of bowling enthusiasts and young children using the bumpers (not that the bumpers are just for young children (Easiest way to make triple digits? I think so)). The staff is friendly without being overly sunny and the lanes tend to be well-kept. There's usually a wide selection of balls to use (and I, for one, like their bowling shoes). There is an arcade there with a limited selection of games. There is food available, though nothing extremely special (not to say that the food isn't tasty). In essence, Concourse Bowling Center is everything a bowling alley needs to be, with a few things that serve only to make it better.

Video games and Miniature golf are what Camelot has to offer, and each are offered well. There is a wide selection of video games available, ranging from the old arcade games (Tetris, Pacman, etc.) to the newer games (Soul Calibur II, Dance Dance Revolution, etc.) The arcade runs on a token system, the standard system now. There are also the ticket-earning games with the usual cheap toys available for (ticket) redemption.
The miniature golf is the main draw of the place, though. There are five courses, varying in difficulty from easy to dififcult each with its own set of quirky holes to putt through. It's an enjoyable time and can be a fun family pursuit, especially on normal Southern California days.
Also, (though this isn't encouraged), there's the extra challenge that can be added to a game of miniature golf by trying to hit one's ball onto the 91, which runs right past the place. I advise against it. Really.

It's a movie theatre better than most. Century Theatres offer both movies that are standard fare at nearby theatres as well as films that would fall more under art or indie categories, with the occasional foreign film thrown in. The experience in the theatre is a great one: the seats are comfortable and the theatres are clean. The theatre and the movies offered make the price of admission worth the money.
