No. There a few things that are cheap, and a lot of stuff that's not. The prices are comparable to the Gap in many ways, but don't get marked down nearly as often. The biggest selling point is that they have a huge inventory, and everything's very very trendy. I would say the quality of their clothing isn't very good...not exactly clothing that'll last you years. Also not clothing that'll still be in style next year. The clothes are often very cute, just not exactly practical. They do have some cheap jewelry though. It's worth checking out. The Downtown Crossing location is really messy, but it's huge. Go early in the day before the crowds (or, on the weekdays when people are at work). The Newbury St. location just opened this week, and it was a big disappointment. The space isn't nearly big enough for how much they've crammed in. It's unpleasantly crowded (and not just by people). Also, don't expect to get any service, while the stores are always well-staffed, the staff appears to have little interest in helping customers.

While this store basically sells a lot of junk, it's all fun stuff. They have a lot of cute things, knick knacks, and other odds and ends. Great for gifts if you don't know what to get someone...you'll definitely find inspiration here. The store's rather crowded with stuff, so be careful not to knock into anything. Very enjoyable, and conveniently located in the mall.

They also have yummy drinks. Service was fine. Get there early and you won't have to wait for a seat. Might not be such a great place for large groups since the interior is so small.

This Super 88 doesn't have the food court of the one on Comm Ave, but it still has the extensive groceries. It's never been a problem to find parking, and it's conveniently located next to other stores like Target, Stop & Shop, and Home Depot. The store is more spacious than the Comm Ave location as well, so it's easy to find what you're looking for.

It's a good place to look for costumes and such if you have extra cash to spare. They've got a huge inventory, so you can probably find whatever you're looking for there. They also have an online store. If you're shopping for Halloween the week of, be careful to go when they first open, it gets incredibly crowded. Another alternative is the Garment District in Cambridge (right next to MIT).

If you like shiny objects, this is the store for you. Everything sparkles. There's another location at Downtown Crossing which is I think, bigger. Some of the jewelry is rather expensive, but you can find more moderately priced pieces (think Claire's, but with more selection, nicer stuff, and a bit more expensive). It's a fun store to browse, especially if you're with a group of women.

The food is ok, the prices are a bit high. It's supposed to be Indian, but the menu's rather limited, and the food just isn't as good as other Indian restaurants. The decor is interesting. It does tend to get crowded though, so you may have to wait. On the other hand, there's lots of other restaurants around if you decide not to wait.

Some of the menu is pretty basic, but they do carry some more unique items...Corn and cilantro soup? It was actually pretty good. Their samosas aren't bad either. They do a buffet for lunch (I believe it's $8). Be aware that they close between lunch and dinner though, so don't try to go in the middle of the afternoon. I don't think I've ever seen it crowded.

It's a pretty big restaurant, so I've never had to wait. The menu's pretty extensive as well. They have a dim sum brunch on the weekends, but I've never tried it. Seems odd to have dim sum in a non-Chinese restaurant.

If Kashmir's a bit up there in price for you, consider this as an alternative. The food quality is a bit lower, but it's standard Indian fare at reasonable prices. Try to go for their buffet (it's like $6). I've never seen it crowded, but it does decent business. Pretty quiet, so it's easy to converse.
