My favorite dish was the unique corn cilantro soup. Also, check out their lunchtime buffet.

This Trader Joe's lacks many of the amenities of larger locations. For example, you can't find wine here. However, it's still useful for the Back Bay crowd with its large selection of pre-packaged and pre-made foods. Everything is exactly like how you would expect it: tasty and cheap.
The only downside is this place is cramped and feels like one giant freezer section. However, it very nicely complements the nearby Whole Foods and Shaw's.

Unfortunately, they don't have much there. When you think of toys, you usually think of video games, Barbie, action figures, etc. This place has none of those. However, they do have stuffed animals.

There are two reasons to come here:
1. You want standard Mexican food. The food's somewhat uninspired, but you'll find exactly what you want on their menu. Also, the chips have always tasted stale for some reason.
2. You want a margarita. This place is often rated best for margaritas in Boston, though frankly, I don't agree. However, it's still a blast with their giant cactus bowls and make your own margarita nights (Tuesdays only).

This is a great place for after-work drinks, too, in the bar area. Relax a bit after 5PM with some nachos and fried calamari, and you'll go home quite happy.

If you're looking for dim sum, then you've come to the right place. Unfortunately, everyone else knows about it, too, so this place is always horribly packed. However, that just proves that the food's awesome, right?
Just point at all the things you want to try. They'll come around on carts. However, you'll probably want to bring someone well versed in dim sum foods. Otherwise, you may get some nasty surprises. Although all the foods are Chinese delicacies, they might not agree with all Western palates.

This place is regularly rated highly and for good reason. Their food is tasty, and the service is fast. The menu is already extremely extensive and covers pretty much anything you might want. My favorite dish is the spicy pork on rice. It's greasy but delicious.
The one thing you don't come here for is the ambiance. Their decor is anything but fancy.

This is a superb Chinese bakery with a large selection of buns, moon cakes, etc. Everything is extremely inexpensive, and this place has a larger selection than many nearby places. You definitely want to bring someone who speaks Chinese, though, so you can figure out what everything is. Many things are unlabeled, and the things that are aren't necessarily labeled clearly in English.

If you absolutely must have meat, then you'll want to stop someplace else to eat. However, even a meat-eater can get by here, and the food is decently good.
The one thing that bothered me, though, was the fake vegi-meats. They tasted a bit off. I would've preferred just eating something that was unabashedly tofu.

Here, you'll instead find gourmet personal pizzas for a decent price and a creative menu of martinis that's ever-changing. Also, you can get all their wines by the glass, which is a rare treat.
