This place tends to send out a lot of menus in the mail, so it's easy to overlook it when ordering pizza. Figuring it was just another run of the mill pizza parlor, I ignored them for a long time before I realized that it was actually gourmet pizza! They deliver quickly, and the pizza is awesome! You can get much more than just boring pepperoni here. They have quite the selection of creative pizzas that are certain to please your palate and leave you extremely full.

The best thing about this place is the outdoor roof deck that's open during warmer months. Unfortunately, there's no view, as the roof is low. Instead, you're just surrounded by buildings. However, I never noticed this until someone else pointed it out to me. I think I was just happy to be outside having a drink.
This is really an after work bar, and the place tends to die down greatly later in the evening.

If you're sick of Domino's, then you should try out this place. Some people think the pizza's awful while people like me think it's not bad. Either way, they have a nice selection of food that's delivered to your door quickly. Check your mail for coupons and a menu. You'll inevitably get one if you live in the area.

Everything here is overpriced. If you have a car (or at least access to one), then you're much better off going to Home Depot or Ikea. The only time you should come here is during their monthly (or so) Midnight Madness sales where everything is marked down huge amounts.
If you do insist on buying stuff here, then make sure you use a coupon. They're always printed on the back of my Shaw's receipts. Also, sign up for the frequent shopper card, but you can't use it during sales.

This place has absolutely horrible Chinese food. I have never tasted anything worse. However, if you're starving and it's 3 AM, then this is the place to go. Conveniently located for hungry musicians at Berkeley, the restaurant becomes pretty much the only thing open on Mass. Ave. aside from Store 24. If you don't want to microwave a frozen Hot Pocket, then you might as well come here.

If you're on a pub crawl in Faneuil Hall, then you absolutely must stop by Bell in Hand. It's the oldest continuously operating establishment, open since 1795, and they're very much alive and kicking in the 21st century with good bands and lively atmosphere. Whether or not you're a history buff, you'll feel secure in knowing that two centuries of historical figures enjoyed drinking the beer here as much as you do today.

This place has an awesome deal for lunch! Basically, it has all-you-can-eat Mongolian BBQ with a salad bar for $10/person including tip. They have a good selection of meat and sauces, which they quickly grill and bring to your table. The salad bar is also extensive, and you'll go back to work waddling from how much you ate. The only thing that annoys me a bit is the excessively funky decor, but at least it gives the place character.

If you want breakfast, then this is the place to go on weekdays. They have eggs, hash, corned beef, french toast, etc.--pretty much everything that you'd expect at a breakfast diner.
They also have a decent lunch menu, though their food isn't as impressive in this regard. You'll get standard deli takeout here such as pastrami sandwiches.
The main downside to this place is the excessively greasy food and past health code violations.

If you work in the area, then you've undoubtedly gone to the food court at the transportation building. Tucked away in the corner is a stand (though they've recently remodeled) that sells good Mexican food. Get your burritos and tacos here for what isn't a bad price and rush back to work to eat your lunch. Despite having a monopoly on Mexican food in walkable distance, they do a good job. Try out the taco plate sometime.

This is one of those places that can be both great and awful.
Here's what's great: It's at the top of the Pru, so you get 360 degree views of Boston from the highest place short of an airplane. The drinks are also comparable in price to any other bar in Back Bay.
Here's what's bad: It's expensive. There's only one vegetarian dish, and if you don't like eggplant, then too bad. The food's also not all that exciting.
