If you have a craving for BBQ, then this place will certainly satisfy your needs with huge servings of whatever meat you can imagine. Also, if you're on the bar side, then you'll find an extensive and unique beer selection. The one downside is that if you've had really good, tender, juicy BBQ before, then this place will surely disappoint. While the food's not bad, the meat isn't all that tender and the sauce isn't all that spectacular.

The place becomes packed after the nearby bars empty out, which means you may end up waiting a while for a table. The food, though, will satisfy that drunken craving with piping hot, quickly served Chinese. At that hour, though, there's a table minimum, so don't expect just to eat a couple dumplings. You'll be eating a feast instead.

If you're in the North End without a concrete destination, then it becomes extremely easy to be overwhelmed with the selection of Italian restaurants. In fact, it's almost impossible to decide which one without knowing a little something first.
So here's the little something. This place has good Italian food with decent prices. The restaurant's small but has a nice atmosphere with enormous religious murals on the walls and ceiling. It also doesn't seem to be as crammed as other restaurants, so you can breathe easy while still enjoy a good meal.

However, the people are always great fun, there's a good selection of beer, and you can always play a game of darts. They always have the Sox on TV (during the season, of course), and it's a good place to go to watch a game. They also have a trivia night, which attracts some serious competition for free beer.

However, the point here is that it's a microbrewery or, I suppose, a brewpub. You'll find a large selection of fresh beer that you can either drink there or take home in a growler.
This place is a must-stop for when you're in Fenway for a game or whatever other reason. Also, don't forget to sign up for their mailing lists, as they continually send a stream of good coupons.

Here, the main attraction are bowls of noodle soup like at more traditional Asian noodle houses. However, there's the Latin twist, so you can order things like spicy citrus sauce to go with it. Other notable items on the menu are Juan-tons and plaintains, which showcase the restaurant's creativity and tastiness.

Although this place is ostensibly about stuff like Dungeons and Dragons and those types of fantasy games, they do have other stuff. Personally, I was happy to find a Deluxe Scrabble set, so I could play that day. The only downside was the price. I could have easily found it for half the cost online or elsewhere. However, it's convenient, and if you're impatient, then it's the only place nearby that carries these things.

The food here is excellent and inexpensive. If you're in Fenway for any reason such as for a Sox game, the MFA, or the ISG, then you absolutely must stop by El Pelon for some good eats. There's nothing on the menu that's bad, though my favorite by far is their taquitos. Unfortunately, they're oftentimes no longer available later in the day.
Also, don't forget to get your burrito card stamped. You're certain to earn many free burritos after coming here over and over.
