My favorite Greek restaurant, this place is always packed. A popular spot with yuppie locals, you'll always spot a friend waiting in line to order. Bring your own bottle or buy one from their wine shop, it will go great with the souvlaki. Come early though and guard an emtpy table jealously, seating is limited.

One of my favorites, they have a great selection of Japanese Food. TRy the sashimi, incredibly fresh and you get a good sized portion unlike many places that serve just a few pieces. Favorite dish is chirashi, with an excellent temnpering or vinegar in the rice. Just like in Japan. Great atmosphere, lots of tourists and locals.

Mostly rolls loaded with mayo and an occasional piece of raw fish. Plates run between 1.50 to 4.00. easy access at Ala Moana center.

Favorite local restaurant, everyone loves coming here as it reminds them of the good old days of their youth. I used to come as a kid and still sneak back to 'hang out' with my girlfriends. My guilty delight is an order of spaghetti w/ meat sauce and garlic bread. Heavy on the arteries and stomach, but big on memories. An acquired island taste.

The wonton soup is greap here with wontons the size of your fist. The soup broths are light but full of flavor and delightfully warming. Reminds me of Ramen from Kyoto.

California Wok is the only restaurant that delivers to my apartment so we tried it one night. With a $15 minimum for delivery we ordered General Tso's Chicken and garlic chicken with fried rice. The rice was ok, the garlis was decent but worst General tso's I have ever tasted. Ok in a pinch but try somewhere else for real chinese.

It’s a nice family style Italian restaurant with redvand white checked table clothes and very nice servers. However, the food was not at all what I was expecting. Having heard rave reviews from everyone about the place, I was surprisingly disappointed at the quality of the food. It was quite bland and tasted like they had just drenched the pasta in olive oil to give it taste. Insanely large portions of tasteless food.

My guilty pleasure is getting lunch from Panda Express. Their orange chicken is to die for and they have the best, fresh steamed rice at the mall. It’s a steal for about $6, you get a two item combo and another dollar, a soda. The pepper steak is excellent too. They have good eggrolls on the side for those who enjoy them. There is always a long line but its worth the wait.
