Dos Coyotes is located off the F65 plaza over by the new shopping plaza/ food court. This restaurant offers many different Mexican dishes from burritos and tacos at an affordable price. This place is similar to Chipotle but I felt like it didn’t compete with them as well. On the upside whatever dish you order at Dos Coyotes you get a side of chips for free and there are about 5 different choices of salsa to choose from. I got the chicken burrito and a soda for about $7 and it wasn’t too bad. If you’re looking to get a quick meal during your lunch break I would highly recommend this place for you.

The best fried chicken in town. There aren't too many places that serve fried chicken besides KFC. But this place is starting to become a big hit with its customers. Popeye's Chicken actually comes from the Popeye cartoon and it provides a unique taste in fried chicken. They offer different kinds of chicken from the original to spicy, and the mouth watering biscuits. I have never had biscuits like these; warm, gooey, and fresh out of the oven. Let's not forget to mention that the butter is already placed inside the biscuit so no need for cutting them open and making a mess. This place packs a punch with its unique chicken recipes and the prices are just right. They offer combo meals at affordable prices so if you ever see a Popeye's Chicken pull over and grab some good ol' fashion chicken.

Old Fashioned Burgers offers a wide variety of burgers; from the classic hamburgers/ cheeseburgers to chicken sandwhiches and the mouth watering fries. The first time I went to this place was in Pinole Valley and I just recently found one that is located right across from the F65 plaza. The prices are just right and the food is quality you can truly taste. No complaints here, this is what burgers are all about. All burgers are cooked to order and served with the utmost care. Good customer service and great tasting foods that will have you coming back for more. If you have time and want to try something else besides the normal "fast food" burger I highly recommend this. You won't regret it and they will have you coming back for more. Two thumbs way up!

I recently just started attending this church after a long absence and all I have to say is this is one of the best churches in the Sacramento area. The church provides 2 services, the traditional service at 9 AM I believe and the contemporary service starts at 11 AM. This church is huge and offers so much; from daycare service for children to even a Java City inside to cater to your caffeine needs. This is a great church and I can't emphasize how welcoming the people really are. Everyone is so nice and kind in showing you a wonderful experience. The contemporary service is led by a praise and worship team that does an excellent job leading us in praise songs and the pastor is great as well. This church is truly one of a kind, whether you're religious or not and just want to check it out this is a unique experience that anyone can enjoy.

The only place that I recommend anyone to go have dim sum would be this place. The food is hot, usual varieties (more choices on the weekends), the tea is excellent, and the price is just right. The only complain I have is that the parking lot is small but I recommend parking across the street during the weekends. Comparing this to the other dim sum restaurants in the bay area; driving for an hour, parking, pay a little more, and getting stuck in traffic on the way back just to get better quality dim sum might not be worth it. This is a great local dim sum restaurant and is affordable then most others. If you’re looking for a taste of this lovely dim sum cuisine and don’t want to make the drive this is the place for you.

The best Korean BBQ in Northern California. This is definitely the best Korean BBQ (Gal-bi and Bul-go-gee) Beef spare ribs and slices of pork. The restaurant also offers the best on site-charcoal so customers can cook for themselves if they wish. Food quality is good. After eating dinner I usually go with my family to watch the sunset on the Pacific Ocean which is a few minutes away. This is truly a unique dining experience for Korean cuisine. It is as if you are sitting down and eating in one of the restaurants in Korea. One of my all time favorites.

IKEA specializes in offering everyday furniture in modern design, that is good quality, affordable, and in style. I didn’t have any idea what IKEA was first about. When I was driving to school one day, there was a car pulling a model design of a furnished home driving around the Sacramento State campus. I thought to myself ‘wow” they are really putting an effort into getting people to come to this place. I have only heard good things about the recent opening in Sacramento. One of the things that sets this place apart from others is the quality and the price of their products. This is a college student’s paradise as you can finally put together something that you can call home. They even offer breakfast daily, similar to Costco's food court. Check it out today and see what's buzzing in Sacramento.

Good coasters, although they removed the best one. Excellent drop zone. Lots to see and do, but mostly do. The lines can be long and crowded although things move pretty smoothly. The park offers 6 different types of rollercoasters- sitting, standing, sitting with your legs dangling and so on. My favorite ride is Top Gun as it is an inverted ride and truly lives up to its name. The best time to go is during the evening and towards closing since there are no lines. Great place to take friends and family; sometimes they even hold concerts here as well.

This is one of the worst Six Flags parks I have ever been to. It used to be an animal park called “Marine World” now it’s Six Flags Marine World. It was purchased around 1999 and then converted into an amusement park. The park isn’t designed to accommodate the large numbers of people and the layout is poor. The rides aren’t great and half the time they are functional. There are a number of animal exhibits, and it seems as if the animals are all huddled together in small habitats that aren’t big enough for them. When you see the animals, you almost feel sorry for them. During the long hot days, the park doesn’t offer much food or shade. The park also closes earlier then most at 8:00 PM and this is not the best place to visit.

Hidden Valley Park is a huge park that offers various trails, lakes, and beautiful scenic views over Martinez. This was actually one of the places I asked out my girlfriend on top of the many hills overlooking the beautiful city at night. There are two narrow wooden paths you can go through which leads you to the other side of the park. On the other side of the park, it offers bathrooms, basketball courts, volleyball courts, and even a soccer field. This is one of the biggest public parks I have ever been to and I always enjoy coming to. This is a great place to get away from it all and just have some time to yourself.
