Lee's Sandwiches has a variety of deli and asian oriented foods. There were several sections to the deli including a smoothie bar, an asian section, and what looked like to be a pastry section. They have some very unique smoothies such as an avacodo flavored smoothie with real avocado. Their asian food is priced generously with alot of items marked as as 2 for $3.00.

Anthony's restaurant is located right by the ocean shore in the wonderful San Diego. Mainly serving seafood, it is extremely fresh and delightful to eat. Nothing beats fresh seafood knowing that it was caught that same morning right in the waters next to where you're eating. Although it is very pricey with a lobster tail running you a good $40, it is absolutely amazing. This restaurant puts Red Lobster to shame.

The Mirage at Las Vegas, located conveniently on The Strip, has one of the best free shows in Vegas. With music playing loud enough to be heard for blocks, water spouts shoot water high enough to reach the top of the hotel roof, all while being synchronized to the music. The water show is performed several times a night, so on those nights in Vegas when you are just strolling down Las Vegas Blvd looking for stuff to do, there's a good chance that the water show will go off while you're nearby.

Treasure Island features one of the best free shows in Vegas--Sirens of TI. The pirate show in front of their casino has two life-sized ships in real water. It's a classic pirate fight with (fake, obviously) cannons going off and "hitting" the other ship. Of course like most shows in Vegas, there are provactive dancers dancing on the ship while the pirates are battling. The ships were even created to be able to sink once hit with the cannon (and be brought up after the show, of course).

This place is by far the worst casino on The Strip. It has only 3 shows, none of which will ever have sell-out crowds. It has a mere 3 restaurants, 2 of which are essentially the same and the other a buffet which could use alot of improvement. The show we saw was The Amazing Jonathon and it was only mediocre--the only good part was the projection onto the screen before he came on stage (won't spoil for anyone who plans on seeing the show).

Circus Circus Las Vegas seems to be the main kid attaction in Vegas. It has a huge theme park inside a dome behind the casino. The theme park has a double corkscrew, double helix twist roller coaster and I believe it is the only indoor theme park in the country, if not the world. When I was younger, me and brother spent an entire day in the dome with our all-day passes. The best part is, during the week there are NO LINES. That's right, there is NO WAITING TIME to ride the rides.

The Venetian is a fairly new hotel located dead center of The Strip. The second floor has an enormous Italian painting covering the entire ceiling of a section of the casino. The Venetian also has a wax museum of celebrities called Madame Tussaud’s which I feel is very much overpriced. There is also two gondola boat rides, one of which is outside and the other is inside. I find it would be embarassing to ride one because the boat rower sings very loud and everyone looks and takes pictures of you in it.

This is definitely a one-of-a-kind hotel. With one of the hotel room towers in the shape of a pyramid, the windows of the room is slanted inwards. To get to the hotel rooms, you need a security code, which is great because it keeps unwanted thiefs out. The elevator in the pyramid tower is called an Inclinator because it actually moves diagnally due to the structure of the building and you can feel it moving diagnal--its awesome. The Luxor is also home to the Blue Man Group but we were not able to see them perform.

The Mandalay Bay at Las Vegas is one of the more beautiful hotels that line The Strip. They have elegant overhangs on the casino floor which are pleasant. The Shark Reef they have is awesome; it is like an aquarium but without all the smell of an ocean like most aquariums have (for example, in Monterey, CA). Because this hotel is on the very end of The Strip, if you get the right hotel room you can see the entire Strip!

I strolled into this Office Depot looking for some slim jewel cases. Much to my pleasure, I found out that there was a price mistake on the product as I was charged more than the product displayed on the label on the shelve. Without any problems, the checkstand employee quickly fixed the problem and adjusted my price, including an additional 10% of my item.
