The Brevard zoo is pretty impressive for such a small area. It's the only all volunteer build zoo in the US, which is something commendable. I like that everything is outside, and you can get right up close to the animals... I like the trails and paths that are like corridors thoughout the zoo... great for having small children, cause they can't wander off as easily in bigger mega zoo's.
The giraffe exhibit is the best, and being able to feed them is always a hit. Get a year family pass and you can enter earlier in the morning and be done before the busloads of kids arrive!
