Don't waste your time unless you like to get treated badly and are in the mood for a good swift kick to your ego. The staff at Merry Go Round made me feel like they could care less if I purchased anything from them or not. I had the same experience as most everyone, they looked at me but didn't even say hello.
The items they have are quality for sure and I love the fact that they carry things that other nearby stores might not. Moms and dads should remember that if they have something it IS possible to find it someplace else.
I find it hard to get past the fact that the staff at Merry Go Round is so rude and audacious to people who, by shopping at their store, provide their income and their ability to stay in business.
It's almost like they should just say "Give me your money and don't bother coming back if it doesn't work for you, or you change your mind, because we won't help you. We wouldn't help you while you were in here so why would we now. I hope you did your research about what you're getting, I'm too busy stocking shelves to help you and if you didn't' t research yourself you won't get a refund. Oh, and don't let the door hit you on your way out. Thanks for spending your money here though because I'll eat well tonight."
Whenever I have the opportunity I tell people not to go there. It's strange though because usually if I tell people about my experiences there they say right back to me that they had the same experience or that they heard something similar.

We love Dr. Chow! He is so thorough and really just an amazing eye doctor. My entire family goes to him and has for several years now. He is always an awesome listener and answers any questions you might have, which is great as we all get older and our our sight isn't what it used to be :).
His staff is also super friendly and always very helpful. They take all the time you need to pick out eyeglasses and are honest about what looks good and ... what doesn't.
The glasses they carry are unique and very cool. Not your run of the mill cookie cutter stuff. I especially loved some Kate Spade glasses I saw the last time I was there. Everything is reasonably priced and for the Bellevue area, that's a nice find.

We joined Direct Buy about a year and a half ago and so far we really love it.
I actually called one afternoon and signed up for an orientation (for lack of a better word) and showed up without my husband because he ended up working late that night and I had already canceled on them a few times. When it came down to a yes or no and I said I had to talk to my husband for such a big purchase, they said I couldn't come back. I really wanted to do it so I wrote them a check and asked them to give me 24 hours and they said yes. I'm happy they gave me the option and I didn't lose out.
We've purchased a dining room table and chairs, bed and dresser for my daughter and a sound system for the house. From the money we saved on these four purchases we have paid for our membership. We have a bunch of furniture to buy still so they savings will increase as we buy more.
PROS: Great selection and variety of quality brands you can order, SUPER friendly & helpful staff (very important!), Substantial savings to be had on everything you could ever buy (cameras...faucets...rugs...blenders etc), Ability to research online, the ability to use membership years from now if we want to remodel or update on huge ticket items like appliances
I can't really think of any cons. Maybe the initial cost of the membership and that it helps to live close to the showroom for ordering but that's about it. They don't offer credit to buy merchandise, you need your own cash or cards to purchase stuff.
I would join again in a second and would recommend Direct Buy to anyone interested in joining.
