Mijares is my family's favorite meeting place. My parents have been going to Mijares for 50 years. Great food and friendly people. It used to be in a smaller location, but that restaurant burned down. Now it is located on Palmetto & Pasadena Ave near Old Town. Sundays go for the Mariachi brunches! Also a good sports bar section. Something for everyone!
