Okay, if you are into big portions that seem to never end, this is your spot. Everything you get at Claim Jumper seems to be enough for three people but don't tlet that scare you - the food is yummy. Try their salads (all of them are unique and yummy), French Onion soup, Filet Mignon and Ribs. Also, their all you can eat salad bar is pretty fun too. A fun place to stop by in Redmond Town Center.

Located in Redmond Town Center next to Borders and across from the Gene Juarez salon, this little diner decarated in fifties style is a great little spot for catching a bite with little kids. Everyone seems to go here with their kids, so no matter how much noise your kid makes, chances are it will never even be noticed. The food is good, not exceptional but just good burgers and also other entrees for the diet conscious. My four year old daughter begs to go in there every time we go through Redmond Town Center!

Mayuri is my family's favorite Indian restaurant on the Eastside (they have another location in Queen Anne in Seattle as well). Their lunch buffet is a hit for many around the area as you are likely to find long lines whenever you go during the week. Their food truly yummy - try Saag Paneer fro a vegetarian treat, or Chicken or Lamb Tikka Masala as their Tikka Masalas are really out of this world. At dinner time they have a rather nice atmosphere - a couple times when we have dined in on weekends they even had live music. A must try in the least!

My family loves Chinese food and ever since we have moved to Redmond we've been on the lookout for a great Chinese restaurant. Well, this one is it. Actually, I have to admit that we have never eaten in the establishment but we have ordered out from it time and again. The food is wonderful, and the prices are in the upper-middle range. If you like beef, make sure to try their Mongolian Beef - but it is all yummy stuff. Two thumbs up!

Thai Ginger is located in Redmond Town Center, on second floor, about where Gymboree and Gap are. Their Pad Thai, veggies mixed in their coconut curry sauce are among my favorites. If you are into appetizers, their egg rolls are a must-try. if you choose to eat in, the waiting time is very reasonable, and if you call to take out, they're pretty accurate about when your food will be ready. Really yummy food, two thumbs up!

Sassy Teahouse and Boutique is a little gem hidden in downtown Redmond. They offer a delicious selection of teas, cakes and finger sandwhiches and one of my favorite things to do is visiting it with my four year old daughter who loves to "play tea" with me in this feminine, quaint establishment. Even though my daughter prefers to share my table and hang out where the adults hang out, there is also a little area where moms can drop their kids off to play with the other kids. It is really a little treasure.

Oobas is one of our favorite Mexican restaurants. The atmosphere is very low key and simple, although they have some big wooden tables that make eating in a pleasurable experience for the nostalgic spirited. The meals cost between $6-10 and all of the ones I have tried have been really delicious. Try the steak burrito for a very filling and tasty lunch entree. Also, they sell their fresh salsa for take out and it is well worth the price. Two thumbs up!
