Both this location and the one in Burtonsville have amazing food. The kafta and chicken tikka are my favorite kabobs, but I usually get the vegetable platter. I'm not a vegetarian, but I'd rather eat their vegetable platter than anything else, anywhere. The Columbia location is short on seating and can be cramped. The service is polite, but not 'friendly'. This is contrast to the Burtonsville location's huge dinning area and friendly service. Entree's run $7-$9.

However, the decor is awful; they really need a makeover. They have probably been playing the same cassette in the same deck over and over for the past 20 years. And even if the sound quality was perfect, the music would still be annoying. But.... the food is worth it
I usually call ahead and take the food home for a more pleasant dining experience. If you do decide to eat in, the service is usually good and they have a decent buffet for lunch and on the weekends.
