My sister had her eyes examined here two years ago. She was very nervous during her exam and ended up getting the wrong prescription. Since she lived out of town they had her glasses shipped to her via UPS. When they weren't correct they offered to perform a second exam to make sure they got the right prescription. Their office is located next to Wal-Mart in the Wildwood shopping center. I would suggest entering the second enterance furthest from Wal-Mart to avoid the headache of navigating Wal-Mart shoppers.

For 69.95 you get a complete doctors eye exam as well as two pairs of glasses. This is the best deal by far. The glasses are rather durable and last about a year. For about 20.00 extra you can turn one of the pairs into sunglasses. I had my eyes examined here about 3 years ago and I was very satisfied. I am going to make another appointment soon for a new prescription.

Langley's Curb Market was a staple in our family for years. It was located at the beginning of Anniston Beach Road which our summer home was on. Every time we would visit we would get a huge cup of boiled peanuts and munch on them by our pool. Unfortunately the family that owned Langley's curb market has since converted it into Oliver's Pub and it no longer serves boiled peanuts.

My cousin delivered her daughter at Jacksonville in the fall of last year. She delivered on a Saturday morning and she and one other lady were the only two patients on the maternity ward so she got more attention then most new mommies get. They were very sweet and kind to her and took about 50 pictures of her daughter with their digital camera and printed her off a few before she left. They also provided her with great freebies and wonderful advice. I was very impressed at how far Jacksonville Hospital has come in the last few years.

I purchased a Ford Focus from Sunny King Ford in 2002. I felt like the sales people went above and beyond guarantying me finance in the vehicle. I felt like I got a decent deal and was happy with my payments. I used their service department on a number of occasions. Overall the service was great however it took a while for my car to be serviced because it is so busy. I was never provided a rental and later came to find that I should of been provided one.

I delivered my daughter at St. Vincents hospital in the spring of 2004. Every suite at St. Vincents is private and you deliver your child and recover all in the same room. It is a beautiful room with hardwood floors, ample storage, and a refrigerator. The nursing staff overall was very friendly and answered all questions that I had. I chose to breastfeed my daughter and they were very respectable of the choices I had made. I look forward to the birth of my next child and seeing their new maternity ward for the first time. (They had to add more suites because the hospital is so in demand)

We moved to Birmingham two weeks before we found out my daughter was on her way. I didn't have an OBGYN in town and picked Henderson and Walton because of their high profile and relationship to St. Vincents. (After all that is where babies come from). On my first visit I sat down with a nurse and she explained the entire process to me. How many visits I would have, the frequency and duration of the visits, the costs etc. I then met Dr. Britt for the first time and I thought she was very kind and attentive. Over the course of my pregnancy I rotated out and met with the other 5 doctors in the group. I was very happy to realize that they let you set your own appointment in the book (instead of the receptionist choosing for you) and that they were open on Saturdays. When I delivered Dr. Ingram was on call. I thought she was the kindest person I had ever met. I look forward to my next pregnancy and seeing these people on a more regular basis again.

I had a horrible experience at this school. I would call it a cult. I went there seeking information and ended up taking an entrance test because they refused to give me information otherwise. They wanted 7000.00 for their field of studies that only lasted nine months. They took me on a tour of the school (located in a shopping center) and interrupted every single classroom to introduce me. I will never return there again and I will tell everyone I know of the horrible impression this school left on me. They called me four times that week asking me if I was interested and if I would like to apply for financial aid. I told them I was moving out of the state and would not be attending. I had to lie to get them to leave me alone.

Last year I had a flat going down I-20. My grandfather came and put on the spare and drove it to Sears automotive. He purchased a new tire for my vehicle and had them check the spare to make sure it remained in good condition. I was very pleased with the service that Sears gave to my vehicle. At first I was surprised that my grandfather chose this establishment but after the care they gave to my vehicle I understood. My sister also had purchased a set of tires from Sears three years ago and they happend to dry rot. Although it wasn't Sears fault they gave her a discount on the purchase of a new set. I thought that was kind of them.

I purchased a set of tires from Firestone in the spring of 2005. I was impressed by how quickly they were able to install the tires and how much information the technicians provided me in regards to the quality of tires and wear and tear etc. I felt relly comfortable with the choice I made and would use them again in a heartbeat.
