We recently stayed at the Aberdeen Inn in Asheville and found it to be pretty ok. The building itself isn't in the greatest condition and could use some upgrading. The location was nice because it was only about a mile or two from downtown. And the breakfast was exceptionally delicious! The owner is very nice and accomodating and the price is pretty reasonable for the area. I would have to say my favorite part was the breakfast. On the first day, we had cranberry, apple crunch and pumpkin pancakes. The second day was a lime tart and thick french toast. Each day we had a meat as well.
