North Carolina is known for several things, basketball, pork BBQ, beaches and southern politics. What surprised me was Chapel Hill is home to one of the best pizza joints in the country. Pepper Pizza tucked in small easy to miss hole on Franklin Street serves up one mean pizza. They also have great Stromboli’s. This local haunt is well worth your time.
