Duke Gardens is a really beautiful place year-round. The gardens are amazing and the walking paths take you by some gorgeous stuff. Plenty of places to sit and relax, as well as larger fields to run and play. You can sit by one of the ponds and watch the birds and the turtles. They allow dogs, which is nice. You might also catch a wedding if you are there on a Saturday. This is definitely a "don't miss" in the Triangle.
