Maple View Farms sells super tasty ice cream and milk (and meat). They sell the milk at Whole Foods, Earth Fare, and Harris Teeter (and maybe other places I don't know about). It comes in glass bottles - you pay a deposit and when you return the bottle to the grocery store, you get your deposit back.
They sell ice cream at their farmhouse location in Chapel Hill, as well as their Carrboro location (open seasonally). The ice cream is always good, and they make some unique flavors. The farm in Chapel Hill is protected via a conservation easement with the Triangle Land Conservancy, and it is really neat to drive out there, sit in a rocking chair on the front porch, relax and watch the cows.
