You just can't beat the Dollar Tree. It's always a mini adventure to see what you can find for a dollar here. I've found some great stuff such as Carress Body Wash once that retails for almost $5 at other stores. The store in Richardson is big with a wide variety of products. The staff is always friendly and helpful, too.

I really prefer an indoor mall, but this shopping complex has proved to be a beautiful and interesting addition to Garland. It is much more fun than I thought it would be to walk around the nicely laid out center. There is a wide variety of shops and more dining choices being added all the time. Anchored by Dillards at one end and Foleys on the other this has been a welcome addition to our city.

And the mashed potatoes are the best I've ever tasted. The steaks are very good, also. Service is always very good and we always enjoy eating here.

We always enjoy eating at Dos Charros. It's the first pick usually when I ask my family what they want to eat. There's never a wait and the service is always prompt and friendly. The cheese enchiladas are the favorite of my family. Personally I really like the chicken enchiladas. The rice and beans are both very good, as are the tamales.

Chili's is always fun family dining. My family loves the chips and salsa to start off with. Everyone has a different favorite entree. My personal favorite is Fire grilled chicken and shrimp. It's a great place to meet friends for a casual dinner or for drinks. We also take advantage of the take out service a couple of times a month. Perfect for when you don't feel like cooking but don't really feel like going out to eat. We've had different experiences with the service. Sometimes it's not that good.

Siciliano's is the best Italian restaurant I've every eaten at. The atmospere is nice with the dimmed lighting and candles on each table. The lasagna is absolutely decadent, it's so rich. And the plates full of garlic bread that keep on coming are amazing. We always end up gorging on the bread because it's so good that we end up taking most of the entrees home with us.

There is an extensive mystery novel collection. I've found many hard to find mysteries needed to complete my favorite author's sets. Located conveniently across from Richardson Square Mall.

Great burgers and other specialties are on the menu here. There are so many varieties of burgers to choose from it's incredible. You also get bottomless fries, although I'm not really a fan of their steak fries. I like the burgers but the sides leave something to be desired. The onion rings aren't that great, either. If you sign up for the email club you get a free burger on your birthday and other special discounts throughout the year.

For a quick and inexpensive Mexican dinner, Pancho's can't be beat. Service is usually excellent. Just raise the flag and more food arrives before you know it. My kids love it! All you can eat at an affordable price is my kind of place. Be sure to order sopaipillas at the end of your meal. They're wonderful when hot and filled with butter and honey.
