It was by far the worst wedding I have EVER attended!! Let's start off with the groom and his groomsmen being kicked off the grounds prior to the ceremony (they wanted to take some pictures) - when the owner told them to leave the confused groom said that the photographer told him to go there - the owner responded with "she doesn't own this...I do" - how rude can someone possibly be?? They spent a lot of money there and the owner wouldn't even allow them to take pictures there?!
We rented the “bridal suite” which was actually a somewhat modern very small (kitchen, dressing area and one bathroom) bottom floor of the owner’s guesthouse. The bridal attendant who at first was very kind became overbearing as the hours went on, she was entirely too comfortable with us – sitting down (taking up the limited seats that were available) while we were getting our hair and makeup done. She was constantly talking and adding her two cents in, stressing the bride out, it came to the point where I shut the door just so we did not have to hear her speak anymore and the bride could have a few moments of quite. The suite was not equipped with common items that you would expect, (lint roller, iron, ironing board, blow dryer etc).
The staff was rude and the service was horrible! When we first arrived a younger blonde woman "greeted us" and was extremely rude and even the reverend commented to me on how mean she was. We were basically pushed down the aisle with no directions what-so-ever. After the ceremony it was time for the "cocktail hour" - what a joke! The presentation was as horrible as the selection (you were to use a styrofoam plate - REAL classy!). All of the drinks were served in plastic cups (it felt like a keg party).
The staff was dressed horribly - everyone had on different white shirts that were transparent - you could see undergarments and all other fun things that a proper shirt would have covered. Some were wearing sneakers and capris and ev
