I have been a fan of Michael's since high school, longer than I would like to admit! They really have a huge variety of craft stuff here from the latest trendy crafts, to tried and true standbys, huge wedding and floral sections and their frames department. I adore their cardmaking supplies and could easily blow hundreds of dollars there on their incredible stickers and papers.
They have a good yarn section, if it is a bit chaotic. Their floral area is always intriguing.
And this is odd, but the one on Brown Deer always smells like cinnamon sticks, which I find to be very pleasant. But the scent does permeate the whole store and I can never figure out if it's a product or what. If you are sensitive to scents then you should probably know this. It's like a special crafty scent.
