I have always thought that Milwaukee has a pretty good museum at the MAM. Sure its not huge, but to me, that makes it more approachable. And the collection is much more varied and adventurous than one might expect from a medium sized Midwestern city.
The remodel adds such a distinctive element to the city skyline as well as making for such an incredible background for some of the collection. I also like the cafe for doing some people watching while having a swanky beverage or a nosh before heading back to enjoy the art.
