Ben & Jerry's on Franklin Street is great and all, but if you want an ice cream EXPERIENCE, take a drive down to Maple View Farm for some real homemade country ice cream. It is in the middle of nowhere, but it's great because you can sit in rocking chairs in the front and listen to a banjo player or go run around in the field or roll in the hay. If you don't have time to drive to the country, stop by their Maple View Store across the street from Whole Foods in Carrboro.
