The Barnes & Noble on Broadway and 67th St. has the largest magazine room I have ever seen (takes up then entire fourth floor), and it is attached to a coffee bar. You can grab a cup of coffee or tea (plus a million decadent desserts) and find your favorite magazines--settle into a chair, throw the magazines on the table and dig in. Sure, I guess B&N would prefer you to buy before you browse, but it doesn't seem to stop the hundred or so people who are doing the same thing at any given time. It is a great way to spend a rainy afternoon or kill an hour while waiting for a movie to start at one of the nearby movie theaters. Enjoy!
